GROUND FACE UNITS A generous number of standard colors, Reflective Series colors, and custom colors provides the designer with unmatched selection. Up to 75 standard colors to choose from! A large inventory of molds, specialized equipment and experienced people provide the designer with a wide selection of specialized shapes. It is our business, and our pleasure, to work with designers to provide the shapes and the colors that their creative design concept requires. Let us work with you on that concept. Premier Line™ ground face units provide the designer with excellent design versatility. If it can be done with regular concrete block, it can be done (and then some) with ground face block. Ground face blocks begin as regular integrally colored CMU's…then the faces that are to be exposed to view are ground. This means the availability of shapes and sizes exceed those found in regular block since some angles, chamfers and bullnosed edges that cannot be practically produced on a block machine can be provided in the grinding process. Due to limited space, this is only a small representation of available shapes and sizes. 
STRETCHER (GF) - available in 8", 6", 4", and 2-1/4" bed depths. Face dimensions are (but not limited to) 8”x16”, 12”x16”, and 12”x24”. STRETCHER HALF HIGH (GFHH) - half high (ashlar) units are available in 8", 6", and 4" bed depths. SCORES - scores are designed to present the appearance of a head joint (a false head joint). One or more scores per face are available. CORNERS - for building outside corners and for use in jamb and end of wall situations. Available in 8", 6", 4", 4" Ell Corner and 2-1/4". 
BOND BEAMS (GFBB) - available in 6", 8". Available with and without solid bottom. All GFBB are knockout style (as illustrated). SILL/WATERTABLE - available as shown with 4”, 6", and 8" bed depth. Other sills are available but not shown. CHAMFERS/BULLNOSE - are available with treatment on one or more edges. Typical dimensions are 3/4" x 3/4" for bullnose and 1/2" x 1/2" for chamfers. Custom dimensions (size of chamfer) are available. The reproduction of color samples/chips/swatches in this program is as accurate as electronic publishing will permit. Contact the manufacturer for an actual product sample before making a final selection of color for absolute accuracy in color matching.
