Product Presentation
Composeal Blue Shower Pan is a flexible PVC waterproofing membrane available in 30- and 40-mil thickness in widths of 48-in., 60-in., and 72-in., packaged in 100-ft. rolls. Composeal Shower Pan is concealed under a 1-1/4-in. to 2-in. thick-set mortar bed under ceramic tile or marble installations in showers, Roman tubs, whirlpool bath enclosures, fountains, and roof decks, in new construction or renovation and remodeling.

Benefits
Unlike ready made units of plastic or metal, Composeal can be formed to fit any dimensions or drain locations. It is easy to cut and install on site. Seams are solvent welded on site with Composeal Solvent Cement, which gives instant contact strength. Pre-formed corner/curb protectors are available in pairs to reinforce waterproofing at corners and curbs.

Installations
The pan is cut to size, allowing a 6-in. turn up around the edges and over the shower curb. The pan is placed on the sub-floor, of either wood or concrete which is pre-sloped to drain 1/4-in.-per-ft. Curb protectors are welded in place. A bolt-down clamping ring type drain with weep holes is used. The drain is plugged and the pan is flood tested for 24 hours to check for any leaks. A thick bed of wire reinforced mortar is floated on top. The tile or marble is then set above.

Warranty Information
Composeal 30 and 40 are warranted against failure for any reason and, in the event of failure, replacement material will be supplied at no charge.
