Micro-Grooved, Polystyrene Core, Sandwich Door

CFC-free polystyrene insulation is secured with urethane adhesive to steel facing material, increasing structural integrity. The front and back steel facings are mechanically locked together forming a tongue and groove design for years of worry free protection.

Sections

• 2” thick, double-sided steel doors. Facing material is 26-gauge steel front and 27-gauge steel back
• Vertical hardware-attachment plates, concealed behind facer on interior of section, provide secure fastener attachment for hardware
• Section joints are tongue-and-groove
• Bottom section “U” type astragal floor sea
• White painted end stiles
• Available in white, brown or sandstone

Tracks

• Tracks are 2” or 3”, as required or specified
• Track-to-jamb attachment available bracketed or angle mounted
• Track trajectory available in standard lift, high lift, vertical lift and custom applications

Hardware

• All section-applied hardware is galvanized for increased protection
• 14-gauge or 11-gauge hinges, as required or specified
• Steel rollers with 10 ball bearings and case hardened shafts. 2” or 3” as required or specified
• Heavy-duty bottom fixtures and adjustable top roller brackets

Springs

• Torsion springs are helically wound with oil-tempered wire
• Springs are individually calibrated for each door
• Counterbalance shaft is heavy-wall tube or solid steel as required or specified
