LightLine® canopies can be used to enhance and protect doorways or windows in residential, commercial, institutional & industrial settings. Canopy kits range in width from 1500mm (59-inches) to 2700mm (106-inches) to cover a variety of door and window sizes. Kits can even be installed adjacent to one another to create an extended canopy along an entire wall area.
The LightLine® Curve Canopy is the simplest and most popular style with a design that gently slopes away from the wall. The kits come in three sizes—1500mm (59-in), 1900mm (75-in) and 2700 (106-in)—with the quantity of stainless steel support brackets increasing as the size increases. A hidden rubber gasket helps to seal the canopy to the wall surface and direct rainwater down the curved pane into an integrated, front gutter that sheds the water to both sides. The 4mm (3/16”) thick, UV resistant, acrylic pane is secured with the special Click-Lock attachment feature creating a strong, durable and weather-tight structure. Available in either clear or frosted finishes.
The LightLine® Arch Canopy covers your doorway with an elegant, modern archway. The kits come in two sizes: 1480mm (58-in) with 2 stainless steel support brackets and 1900mm (75-in) with 3 support brackets. A rubber gasket on the edge of the acrylic pane helps to seal the canopy to the wall surface and direct rain away from the wall and into integrated side gutters. The 4mm (3/16”) thick, UV resistant, acrylic pane is secured with the special Click-Lock attachment feature creating a strong, durable, weather-tight structure. Available in either clear or frosted finishes.
The LightLine® Gable Canopy is a contemporary spin on the beautiful pitched roof design.
Important Note: Lightline® canopy kits come with all the hardware needed to assemble. Please verify what type of wall you are dealing with before installing the canopy. If necessary, you may need to use screws and anchors other than those included in the enclosed installation kit. Never attach canopies to vinyl siding, stucco, Dryvit® or other synthetic or natural construction material walls where the structural integrity is uncertain or where possible penetration of a moisture barrier membrane may create a potential for water leakage or damage or may violate and void any product warranties. Be sure to carefully seal any wall penetrations with the proper sealant materials. Consult a construction expert for advice on your specific conditions. Also, building codes vary by state, county and city, so be sure to consult with your local building department before starting your project.
The patented Click-Lock system eliminates need to drill holes in acrylic panel and makes installation of panel into the stainless frame a snap. - Attach the stainless steel support brackets to the wall.
- Slide the rain gutter tubes through the Click-Lock slots at the end of both support brackets.
- Slip the acrylic pane into position on the support brackets.
- Secure the pane by closing the Click-Locks and attaching the rain gutter rods & end caps.
- Attach the stainless steel support brackets to the wall.
- (Assemble on the ground) slide the rain gutter tubes through the Click-Lock slots on both ends of the stainless steel cross-members.

- Place the stainless steel locking bars on top of the pane(s).
- Secure the pane(s) by closing the Click-Locks and attaching the rain gutter rods & end caps.

All stainless steel components are made of type 304 stainless with a finely sanded surface. The protective chromium oxide film on the surface of stainless steel gives it superior corrosion resistance. Properly maintained stainless steel provides excellent luster, strength and durability. In most applications stainless steel won’t rust or stain even after many years of service, but it’s NOT rust or stain proof. When stainless comes in contact with chloride salts, sulfides or other rusting metals, it can discolor or even rust and corrode. With proper care and maintenance, however, stainless steel can remain beautiful and functional for years to come, even when it’s exposed to marine environments, polluted surroundings, salted highways, or anywhere it might be exposed to corrosive elements.
The acrylic panes have excellent resistance to weather and UV rays but prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and environmental contaminants may cause yellowing over time. The panes are also subject to scratching. Therefore, it’s important to install and handle the panes carefully and clean them regularly and properly. Please note that the Click-Lock installation feature also makes it very easy to replace panes if they were to become severely scratched or discolored.
- We recommend cleaning the acrylic panes with warm water, a mild dishwashing soap and soft rag or sponge. Special acrylic cleaners and polishers can also be used to clean and remove any small scratches; be sure to follow the manufacturers instructions.
- The stainless steel and aluminum components can be cleaned with warm water, mild soaps and soft rags or sponges. Enviromagic® cleaner is also excellent at removing dirt, oils and fingerprints..
- Depending on the degree of soiling regular cleaning is vital.
- Stainless steel surfaces should be cleaned with the same frequency as acrylic surfaces.
- Never use sand paper, steel wool or other abrasive materials when cleaning.
- Periodically check all attachment fittings, screws and bolts and retighten as necessary.
