By combining a large quantity of horizontally applied profiled panels with ultra-flat REYNOBOND® Aluminum Composite Material, the White Oak Semiconductor plant makes a distinctive design statement that reflects the building's high-tech function. Using 1.75" deep V-Beam panels in this horizontal configuration transforms traditional commercial building panels into a dynamic architectural feature. Single sourcing of both aluminum profiled and flat panels from Alcoa Architectural Products ensured color uniformity and helped White Oak achieve its ambitious construction schedule. The panels were simple to fabricate in the field and easily integrated with the window system. Coil coating of both panel types with a metallic PVDF finish gives the building a durable, uniform and lustrous finish.
