EXTECH® manufactures window, skylight and wall systems using a variety of glazing options. These include Glass, fiberglass and abuse-resistant cellular polycarbonate (also called polycarbonate structural sheets (PCSS). PCSS is the fastest growing type of glazing material for both vertical and sloped applications. It is now available in multi-wall extruded sheets which are thicker than insulated glass (and they insulate better). They are co-extruded with a UV-resistant coating on both sides. This coating protects the glazing panels and also protects the interiors of your buildings. 
We have been in the business since 1975. We truly believe that we have engineered systems for polycarbonate glazing to a level beyond that of any other manufacturer (and we have the test data to prove it). Among other things, our systems include deep glazing pockets, low-friction gaskets, and controlled gasket pressure, which allow for the thermal expansion of the PCSS in our framing systems. 
EXTECH® has developed more than 20 systems (many patented) for the architectural, commercial and industrial markets. Our monumental Series 3700 skylight system for PCSS glazing has achieved air and water infiltration test numbers superior to those of almost any other skylight (of any kind). EXTECH® has patents on several industrial window systems including our continuous top-hinged window system which allows individual openings as wide as 150' and offers massive natural light and ventilation. Another patented product is the Series 3500 RIDGELIGHT™ system, which is hinged along the sides and will accept the thermal movement of adjoining metal roof sheets. 
EXTECH® has recently developed four new systems : Our Series 2100 reinforced glass block wall system, our Series 3000 monumental curtainwall system that accepts both glass and polycarbonate in the same system, our Series 3100 standing seam polycarbonate skylight system and our Series 3440, a 40mm curtainwall system that has a 3.8 R-value for insulation and greater vertical spanning rates. We have engineered all four of these new systems to be ‘performance exceptional’ and ‘cost competitive’.
