provides
Class A protection. It is AMCA standard 500-L-99 certified.
The LE-59HWD is a horizontal blade wind-driven rain louver that
provides Class A protection.
Example: LE-67VWD
1. Frame Thickness: .081" (2.06) 6063-T5
2. Louver Blade Thickness: .081" (2.06) 6063-T5
3. Louver Depth: 6 (152)
4. Frame Type: Channel or Flange
5. Performance Requirements: As follows, determined by
testing unit 48" W x 48" H (1219 X 1219) per AMCA Standard 500; Publication
511, effective November 1990
a. Louver Free Area: Not less than 8.51 sq. ft. / (0.79 sq.
m.).
b. Static Pressure Loss: Not more than 0.17 in. wg/(42.2 Pa)
at an airflow of 1250 fpm (6.35 m/s) free area intake velocity.
c. Water Penetration: Not more than 0.01 oz./sq. ft. / (3.0
g/sq.m.) of free area at an airflow of 1250 fpm (6.35 m/s) free area velocity
when tested for 15 minutes.
6. AMCA Seal: Apply AMCA Certified Ratings Seal to units.
