Conventional steel reinforced decks can be damaged by moisture and the degrading effects of salt and de-icing chemicals. They can crack, stain and spall—even with epoxy-coated reinforcing, admixtures and sealants, which inhibit, but do not prevent, corrosion.
Not so CarbonCast reinforced with C-GRID. With an installed cost equivalent to conventional double tees equipped with corrosion resisting materials, CarbonCast’s non-corrosive properties will not diminish over time, so tees are less likely to crack, stain or spall.
Thinner = Better
