Narrow profile air conditioning grilles provide ultra-high free area for applications
where maximum throughput of intake or exhaust air is required and weather protection
is not a principal concern. Light in weight, each design can be supplied with
a hinge arrangement for use as sun or vision screens. All are available with
standard visible mullions and continuous blade design. Narrow profile louvers are often specified for use with curtain wall, window
wall and other thin wall construction where 4" (101.6mm), 5" (127.00mm)
or 6" (152.4mm) deep louvers are not practical. All narrow profile louvers
can be furnished with an optional .063" (1.60mm) extruded aluminum frame
with integral flange to facilitate installation. Airolite Architectural Louvers are assembled entirely by welding to ensure
optimum strength and durability required to resist vibration damage and eliminate
the potential for galvanic corrosion. Fluoropolymer and anodized finish coatings
are applied to Airolite Architectural Louvers only after each product is weld-assembled
