Floor Warming When floor warming is the objective, Heatizon Systems products are used in conjunction with the primary heat source to provide warm inviting floors or supplemental heat. Small, medium, and large areas can be warmed very easily with ZMesh, Tuff Cable, Floorizwarm, or Heatwave. Additionally, floor areas that are not contiguous can be warmed with a single standard Control Unit simply by “jumpering” between areas, thus decreasing component costs. ZMesh may be installed directly under most floor coverings. Tuff Cable, Floorizwarm and Heatwave must be installed in thinset, or bed of cementitious material. Heatizon Systems radiant floor warming products are easy to install and offer years of maintenance free comfort. Heatizon radiant floor heating products provide simplified installation procedures and minimal impact upon other trades.

ZMESH® Z Mesh heating element does not require a mud bed and can be placed directly under most floor coverings, including hardwood, or retrofit in the joist space below the sub-floor. With ZMesh, the floor buildup is minimal (typically less than 1/16”) and structural loading for weight and additional framing requirements is nonexistent. This 9 or 12 inch wide low voltage bronze heating element is available in lengths ranging from 50 to 350 feet (in 50 foot increments) and is approximately the same thickness as the screen in a screen door. Because of its low profile, flexibility, and the fact that it does not need a mud bed, ZMesh is fast and easy to install. ZMesh is the radiant floor warming solution anytime floor height build-up is a concern or a mud bed is undesirable or unnecessary. TUFF CABLE Tuff Cable heating element is ideal whenever a concrete or mud bed is desirable or necessary. Tuff Cable requires a buildup of only 1/4” — far less than virtually all of its hydronic and high voltage competitors. Tuff Cable's versatility allows it to be installed in concrete, tile mortar bed, thin set, Heatizon's Heatsink Kit, or asphalt. Heatizon Systems Tuff Cable heating element is a very durable, insulated 10-gauge coated copper cable that is chemical and gasoline resistant. Tuff Cable measures only slightly over 1/8” across, so floor build-up isn’t a big concern. Unlike its mat and webbed competitors, Tuff Cable is easy to install in small and awkward shaped areas, and lends itself nicely to all geometric shaped areas, including rectangles and squares, for customized installations. FLOORIZWARM Floorizwarm is Heatizon Systems’ Low Voltage Tuff Cable system that is specifically designed to warm floor areas from 15 to 110 square feet. Like all of Heatizon Systems fine heating elements, Floorizwarm’s Tuff Cable heating element comes with a 25-year warranty. The Floorizwarm system includes Tuff Cable heating element, the Power Unit, and a fully programmable Thermostat.
