DOVETAIL AND CHANNEL SLOT ANCHORING SYSTEMS
DOVETAIL ANCHOR SLOT SYSTEM: Use dovetail anchor slots in new concrete structures and walls and in precast concrete. Slots are nailed to the concrete form before pouring concrete using each indented nail hole provided in the bottom of the dovetail channel. Slots are provided with foam filler to prevent concrete from entering the slot during the pour. Dovetail slots are typically installed vertically and spaced 16" (406 mm) to 24" (610 mm) o.c. Standard length is 10 ft. (3.048 m) No. 100 STANDARD DOVETAIL SLOT: 1" (25.4 mm) wide x 1" (25.4 mm) deep x 5/8" (15.9 mm) throat, nail holes provided 4" (102 mm) o.c. TO SPECIFY DOVETAIL ANCHORS: THICKNESS: 16 gage, 12 gage, 1/8" (3.1 mm), and 3/16" (4.7 mm) thick. LENGTH: Measured from face of concrete. WIDTH: Standard and Type B Dovetail anchors are typically 1" (25.4 mm) wide and Type A Dovetail Anchors are 2" (51 mm) wide. Add an "A" or "B" suffix to catalog number to specify anchors for type "A" or "B" Dovetail Slot. MATERIALS: Available in mill galvanized, stainless steel, or

No. 130 WELD-ON CHANNEL SLOT: Weld to steel columns and beams in the shop or field. 8" (203.2 mm) long x 1-3/8" (35mm) wide with a 9/16" (14 mm) x 5-1/2" (140 mm) slot. Available in 16 gage or 11 gage. Specify Steel Type. (Primer or plating may require touch-up at welds.) No. 131 BUILT-IN CHANNEL SLOT: Build into new masonry walls. Z-Anchors are welded to No. 130 Weld-On Channel Slots listed above. Specify block size for length of Z-Anchors. Restraining bends in back are 1-1/2" (38 mm) long. Specify Steel Type and Gage. No. 132 SCREW-ON CHANNEL SLOT: Screw or bolt to existing masonry,
concrete, or steel. End tabs are 2" (51 mm) long 12" (305 mm) overall length).
Holes are 9/32" (14 mm) diameter for 1/4" (6.35 mm) fasteners. Available

DOVETAIL ANCHORS
CHANNEL SLOT SYSTEM: Use versatile channel-slots
and anchors to attach masonry or stone veneer to new or existing masonry,
concrete, or steel structures or walls. Available in stainless, hot dipped
galvanized, Epoxy Coated, mill galvanized, or plain.
No. 133 LONG-TYPE CHANNEL SLOT: Build into new masonry walls
using channel slot anchors set into backup wall or attach to an existing
concrete or masonry wall using expansion anchors and bridge plate. Slots
are 7-3/8" (187 mm) long with 3/4" (19 mm) between each slot. 16 gage channel
slots are available in 5 ft. (1.524 m) lengths (7 slots) or 10 ft. (3.048
m) lengths (14 slots). Typical spacing is 16" (406 mm) o.c. Specify Steel
Type. Also available with optional holes between slots.
No. 133-P BRIDGE PLATE: Used to attach No. 133 Long Type Channel
Slots to existing walls. Made of 12 gage steel with 7/16" (11.1 mm) or
5/16" (7.9 mm) hole. Recommend minimum of 3 bridge plates for 5 ft. (1.524
m) channels or 5 bridge plates for 10 ft. (3.048 m) channels. Specify Steel
Type.
