Test Data on Double Throat Inlet: The test data on a pair of CTI-8 throat inlets for 6 foot pondering or 1- ½” of water at curb, capacity of inlet is 0.75 c.f.s. on a 4% grade (greater capacities on flatter grade) with a safety factor of one-third. At 0.75 c.f.s. actual test shows one throat carries two-thirds of water. CTI-12 size is approximately double the capacity of CTI-8 throat.
