Get the protection you need with attractive, Roll-a-way's durable StoreSafe rolling shutters. Our shutters roll up into a tight coil. The coil is hidden by a decorative box housing available in standard and custom styles to accent any installation.
StoreSafe shutter curtains are available in solid aluminum or with several punch patterns to choose the amount of vision you desire through the curtain. The Punch Style 51 (P51) is our most popular style and provides good night time vision through the storefront shutters. The punched slats also provide airflow through secure countertop shutter protected areas. Our transparent rolling shutter is true Security with Vision. Secure your closed business and continue selling with 85 percent visibility. Made of impact-resistant polycarbonate 6 mm thick, Transparoll shutters are 250 times stronger than glass of the same thickness. Transparoll is perfect for covering large spans for security or dividing rooms.

Manual Strap
Standard control for smaller shutters. Controls up to 25 lbs. 
3-1 Strap Crank
3-1 crank ration for small to medium size shutters. An economical way to control a medium size shutter. Controls up to 45 lbs. 
Pole Crank
Geared system with pole operator for medium size shutters. Optional removable pole operator available. Controls up to 80 lbs. 
Manual Push-Up/Pull-Down
Quick and easy operation. Simply push up and pull down the shutter. An exclusive feature of QMI shutters with no-slip hinges. Electric Controls 
Motor Operated
Electric motor for all shutter sizes. Optional manual override, and advanced electrical control systems are available. Draws 1.5 to 3.5 amps depending on size. 
Low Voltage
Our EZ-Drive System features the Smart Drive Motor. Just plug in to recharge. No electrician is necessary. Curtain Profiles 
AL7-E Extruded aluminum single wall
Our AL7-E profile is one of our most versatile profiles. The AL7-E can be punched with one of 5 styles for both security and vision. The AL7-E has patented retention system so that the slats are restricted from being pushed out of sidetracks. It also rolls up in a more concentric roll, reducing the head room needed for the coil housing. The AL7-E slat is new for Q4 2010. This new generation slat design is 3X stronger and rolls into a smaller box housing than both other manufacturers and earlier generation QMI slats. Typical box housing size requirements are determined by shutter height*.
*Shutter width may affect final roll diameters. 
AL2E Extruded aluminum double wall
Roll Formed Aluminum profiles provide good insulation against cold, heat and noise. They are excellent as a security barrier and provide good storm protection. 
CD88 Alulux Roller Grille
CD 78 and 88 series is designed for the highest level of security where visibility is still required. CD 78 is 3' 1/8" tall by 3/4" deep. CD 88 is 4" tall by 1" wide. Each punched opening is 3 1/2" × 1 1/2". PVC inserts are included for noise reduction. Polycarbonate inserts and steel inserts are available for added security. 
CD900 Alulux Roller Grille
CD 099 series is designed for those applications that require a standard grille. CD 900 series is 3 7/8" tall by 1/2" deep. CD 900A has a mesh spacing of 4" and the CD 900B has a mesh spacing of 2".
