Gemini was organized in 1964 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to specialize in the manufacture of vacuum-formed plastic products. In 1966 the company began the manufacture of plastic letters, which marked the beginning of our involvement in the sign industry.

We soon outgrew our plant space and began a search for a new site – one close to the Twin Cities which would provide adequate area to accommodate our growth. We found such a place in Cannon Falls, Minnesota in 1972 and established our new Letter Division in that city.

Gemini now has six plant locations which enables us to offer speedy delivery to our customers. Locations are: Cannon Falls, Minnesota; Decorah, Iowa; Fallon, Nevada; Taylor, Texas; Farmville, Virginia; and Neustadt, Ontario.

The Letter and Sign Product Divisions of Gemini manufacture a wide range of dimensional letters, numbers and sign products for the sign industry, including cast aluminum and bronze letters, precision flat and waterjet cut metal letters in aluminum, bronze, brass, copper and stainless steel, and aluminum and bronze plaques. Other dimensional letters include thermo-formed plastic, injection molded plastic, precision flat and laser cut plastic, injection molded channel letters for illumination, changeable copy letters, track and accessories, theater marquee letters, and gas pricing numerals and letters. We also manufacture Snap Lok^™ track and frames, letter mounting pads and letter trimcap.

Cast Metal Letters

Hand cast and finished in aluminum or bronze, Gemini Cast Metal letters are available in several standard type styles, nine metallic finishes, green patina and thirty-seven painted baked enamel finishes. Gemini can also match your custom style and color.

Flat and Waterjet Cut Metal Letters and Logos

Cut metal letters are made in aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, and stainless steel. Gemini precision flat and waterjet cut metal letters are available in twenty-four metallic finishes and thirty-seven painted finishes, or your custom color. Custom letters and logos can be manufactured from your submitted artwork.

Metal Plaques

In aluminum, bronze, or brass, Gemini Plaques are available in pebble finish with raised letters and either a single line, double line, or single line beveled edge. Bas Relief plaques can be made from your custom art.

Injection molded letters provide the sharp, clean edge of a cast metal letter without the weight. Available in five standard type styles and thirty-eight standard colors. Custom color matching is available.

Formed Plastic Letters and Logos

Thermoformed from Gemex^® Cellulose Acetate Butyrate, Gemini's formed plastic letters are durable and fade resistant under any weather conditions. These formed plastic letters come in many standard type styles and a rainbow of colors. Custom formed letters and logos can be made to your specifications.

A UL approved sign component injection molded from ARTEK^®, a recyclable patent-pending polymer with good chemical resistance to salts, acids, and oils. Flame retardant and passes impact tests. The standard white channel can be painted. Acrylic faces are available in 17 colors. Styles available are Helvetica Medium, Times Bold and Brush Script. All sizes are 5" deep. The neon, electrical or LED components can be provided by your Sign Professional.

Pronto^™ Changeable Copy Letters

Gemini's injection molded Pronto^™ Changeable Copy letters are available in six colors and six typestyles. Sizes available are 1" to 31" depending on the style you choose. Silk screened with UV cured inks, the raised edges of Pronto letters prevent scratching. Feet on the base of the letter clean the track from natural rain washes and prevent winter freezing in colder climates. Also available are the accessories you need for your changeable letter needs.

Snap Lok^™ Theater Marquee letters are thermoformed. Snap Lok^™ letters have clips installed on them that snap onto the track that is installed on a marquee frame. Gemini also produces the track and frames. Slotted B letters are injection molded and offer a flatter face and sharper edge.
