The Irwin 4000 series is our most economical platform because it has limited options available. It still offers a heavier duty understructure than typical gymnasium bleachers but its cost savings are achieved through limited options, rises and deck material. Should these limitations not fit the requirements of the facility, the Irwin 5000 series platform will. The series is available as a heavy duty platform that can be customized to fit any need. Both the series 4000 and 5000 have their own specifications. The fold down chair system may be specified with manual, semi-automatic or fully automatic operation. Manual operation permits the raising and lowering of one, two, three or four chair sections. Semi-automatic is spring assisted. The raising and lowering of all chairs per section can be accomplished by a single operator. The locking and hinge system shall be shrouded the entire length of the section. All chairs shall be lowered by the operation of the platform except the first row, which shall be released manually. Fully automatic shall raise and lock all chairs with the operation of the platform. Each row shall rise into the full upright locked and usable position as the platform opens so that partial rows may be used without fully opening all rows. When closing, each row, including the first row, shall close automatically with the operation of the platform. Fully automatic operation allows any operator to open or close the entire system with the push of a button. Standard Dimensions See our catalog in Sweets Files or call for standard dimensions. USES and APPLICATIONS Telescopic platforms, with or without attached chairs, are being used to take full advantage of today's multi-use design facilities.
