81R™ SYSTEMS

Description: 81R™ Solid Glass Bullet & Cast Iron Panels are a unique historic reproduction panel system engineered to meet today's rigid building codes with a very similar appearance to the cast iron panels used during the turn of the century. The 81R™ Panel System incorporates tiny 1-1/2" solid glass bullets set in cast iron panels that are engineered and custom fabricated to your site conditions.

Applications: 81R™ Panels can be designed for many applications in both interior or exterior locations. Consider this system as flooring, skylights, decklights, stair treads, risers and landings, skybridges, sidewalks as well as in decorative vertical wall applications and others. 81R™ is a load bearing assembly. Pre-engineered and pre-glazed panels arrive to the site ready to set and fasten into place.

Features: 81R™ Panel System is available in two panel thicknesses. 81R™ Sidewalk Panels weighs approximately 90 lbs. per square foot and Circle Redmont offers a complete line of cast iron edge, joint and corner finishing pieces to compliment any sidewalk installation. Circle Redmont also offers standard 81R™ Panels with a newly designed thinner cross section weighing approximately 38 lbs. per square foot and are typically engineered to support 100 lbs. to 150 lbs. per square foot.

Prefabricated panels install quickly and easily and are low maintenance. The 81R™ System is recognized by The New York City Historic Preservation Committee as a suitable replacement for existing cast iron vault and sidewalk panels.

Finishes: Circle Redmont highly recommends a sandblasted finish on all glass top surfaces to improve slip resistance. Circle Redmont offers three surface finishes for 81R™ Panel System; a standard blackened patina, custom colored painted or panels can be left to weather naturally.

Sizes: 81R™ Panels are a totally custom panel system. Panels can also be installed in tandem assemblies to cover virtually any overall opening size with intermediate support provided on site or Circle Redmont can engineer a structural support subframe.

OUTLOOK™ and PSG 2000™

Description: Outlook™ and PSG 2000™ Systems by Circle Redmont are two unique insulated glass custom skylighting systems that offer endless design possibilities without limitations of predetermined shapes and sizes.

Applications: Outlook™ and PSG 2000™ Custom Skylighting Systems are available in stock sized, single units or can be fabricated to your project's skylight size and shape requirements. These panel systems can be prefabricated or erected on site to create a multitude of skylight configurations. Outlooks™ and PSG 2000™ are designed for tandem applications with or without intermediate structural support. Configurations include: skyridges, hipridges, pyramids, greenhouses and other custom shapes.

Features: Outlook™ Skylighting System has a strong, extruded aluminum, structural, self flashing perimeter flange in your choice of double sealed glazing with a standard 1" O.A. thickness. Outlook™ Systems comes pre-assembled and pre-glazed with a thermally efficient clear pine interior ready to be stained or painted for an elegant presentation. Outlooks™ have a low 3" profile which compliments any structure.

PSG 2000™ Skylighting System can be prefabricated or glazed on site in your choice of double sealed glazing with a standard 1" O.A. thickness. Patented, structural, aluminum channel is the foundation of the PSG 2000™ System. This system can be designed to be supported by existing on site framing or Circle Redmont can incorporate structural support independent from the surrounding framework. As patented, PSG 2000™ unique framing system permits natural movement of the supporting structure due to climate change without disturbing the PSG 2000™ frame or stressing the glass assuring a leakproof seal.

Benefits: Outlook™ and PSG 2000™ Skylighting Systems are available for clients seeking a structural, custom skylighting system for residential and smaller commercial applications.

Finishes: Outlook™ and PSG 2000™ Skylighting Systems are available in mill aluminum or CR standard black, white and bronze painted finishes.
