ADVANCED SYSTEM INTEGRATION LABORATORY RF SHIELDED CHAMBER
Project - NAS PATUXENT RIVER, MARYLAND
Description - ONE 187'-0" LONG BY 69'-4" HIGH BY 15'-0" THICK MOTOR OPERATED SINGLE HORIZONTAL SLIDING RF SHIELDED DOOR LEAF.
The largest RF Shielded door in the Country was placed into service at the ASIL facility. The anti-chamber has an exterior weather door system that is comprised of a Fleming Series 500 6-leaf Motor Operated Anchored Group Bi-parting door filling an opening 180'-0" wide x 66'-3" high.

ONE 85' WIDE BY 49' HIGH, ELECTRICALLY OPERATED, SIDE SLIDING, SINGLE LEAF RF
SHIELDED DOOR. FORT WORTH, TEXAS
A 3'-0" cavity faced with 14 ga. sheets RF welded to the door structure was provided along the door perimeter. We also provided electric operation coupled with a magnetic brake to hold the leaf in position when the power is off.

The door operating components were placed on the building and the floor, rather than on the door itself.
GRUMMAN CORPORATION LARGE ANECHOIC CHAMBER
ONE 90' WIDE BY 44' HIGH, ELECTRICALLY OPERATED, SINGLE LEAF SLIDING RF SHIELDED
DOOR. LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK
The door was designed to 20 psf loadings and deflection not exceeding L/360. It weighs over 170,000 pounds and is capable of lateral speeds of 15 feet per minute. RF sealing was accomplished with the aid of a custom designed jack system.
NORTHROP CORPORATION LARGE ANECHOIC CHAMBER
ONE 24' WIDE BY 60' HIGH, ELECTRICALLY OPERATED, SINGLE LEAF RF SHIELDED SWING
DOOR. PICO RIVERA, CALIFORNIA
Two specially designed hinges were provided to accommodate the 40,000 pound leaf weight. Special design consideration was given to providing perimeter seal pressure of 60 pounds per linear foot for shielding purposes.
