PORCH-LIFT^® MODEL PL-S (STANDARD) VERTICAL PLATFORM LIFT

This model has become the standard by which all vertical platform lifts are judged. The Porch-Lift PL-S model has a standard 36" x 48" platform with 750 lbs. rated load capacity. If installed in a protective hoistway and appropriately equipped, the PL-S model is designed to meet all requirements of ASME-A18.1. The PL-S model can be equipped with an attendant-operated package.

History
ThyssenKrupp Access began as American Stair-Glide in 1947, when a Kansas City entrepreneur developed the Stair-Glide® stairway lift. The company began selling the product and developing a nationwide dealer network. Once the network was securely in place, we began to introduce new product lines to benefit the elderly and disabled.

By 1991, we had developed so many products - ranging from vertical and inclined wheelchair lifts to home elevators - that the American Stair-Glide name seemed too confining. So we changed our name to ThyssenKrupp Access to reflect our goal to open up any area of virtually any building to the elderly and disabled. We proved access to a new freedom of movement.

In 1999, ThyssenKrupp Access was acquired by the nation's largest elevator company, ThyssenKrupp Elevator, which even better positioned us to bring you quality products and make us an industry leader.
