LEV® HOME ELEVATOR
The New Lev® Home Elevator from ThyssenKrupp Access is fueling interest in home elevators. With its introduction at the National Association of Home Builders Show in Atlanta, the new Lev caught the attention of home builders who are looking for an affordable elevator to meet the needs and desires of new home buyers.

Starting around $13,149 installed (*Actual sales price may vary by dealer due to freight charges, local permits, inspection fees, sales tax, travel distance, number of floors and options or upgrades from the base model), the Lev is a breakthrough combination of value and advanced technology design.

The Lev is the first home elevator designed for the needs of new home construction - so it fits very well into all sorts of new homes. Multi-story luxury home? Ranch style with a basement? Or a multi-story condo or town home? The Lev is the right choice for any of them. Including your home.

Our engineers took a 'clean-sheet-of-paper' approach to home elevators with the Lev. And it shows. They eliminated the need for a machine room. They gave it greater lifting capacity (950 lbs.) and more standard features than comparably priced elevators. They made it easy to manufacture and install. And they delivered all of this for thousands less than comparable (if there are any) home elevators from other manufacturers.

The Company

Mission Statement
ThyssenKrupp Access is committed to being the world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of specialized lifting equipment for elderly and disabled consumers to use in their homes, public and private buildings and places of worship.

History
ThyssenKrupp Access began as American Stair-Glide in 1947, when a Kansas City entrepreneur developed the Stair-Glide® stairway lift. The company began selling the product and developing a nationwide dealer network. Once the network was securely in place, we began to introduce new product lines to benefit the elderly and disabled.

By 1991, we had developed so many products - ranging from vertical and inclined wheelchair lifts to home elevators - that the American Stair-Glide name seemed too confining. So we changed our name to ThyssenKrupp Access to reflect our goal to open up any area of virtually any building to the elderly and disabled. We proved access to a new freedom of movement.

In 1999, ThyssenKrupp Access was acquired by the nation's largest elevator company, ThyssenKrupp Elevator, which even better positioned us to bring you quality products and make us an industry leader.
