Each Woodfold Roll-Up Door is custom made to order following stringent manufacturing guidelines. Select solid hardwoods are machined to precise tolerances, selected for color consistency, and assembled. The use of natural hardwoods is aesthetically pleasing and will complement a variety of architectural designs.

Using Sweets guideline recommendations, this screen has been organized to provide the architect, engineer, builder, dealer, and owner with detailed information about Woodfold Roll-Up Doors. Supplemental material available includes detailed shop drawing forms and technical specifications.

PP-PRODUCT PRESENTATION
Models/Operation: Woodfold Roll-Up Doors are available for: manual operation, awning crank operation, or electric motor driven.

Track: Solid hardwood guide track provided as standard. Machined of matching hardwoods suitable for face or jamb mounting.

Hardwood Species: Select solid hardwoods including: Oak, Maple, Birch and Alder are available as standard inventoried stock. Other wood species available by request.

Sizes: Roll-Up Doors are available in widths to 12'0" and heights to 8'0". Alder to 6'0" wide. (Call for other size options.)

Finish: The standard Woodfold Roll-Up Door is supplied unfinished.

Component Dimensions: Individual slats 1/2" by 1-5/8", pre-machined to nest in adjacent slat for smooth Roll-Up action. Engineered hardwood lead post, 1-1/2" x 5", providing stable mounting location for locking/security options.

Weight: Total weight including Roll-Up Door, coil mechanism, and all hardware is approximately 10 lbs. per square foot.

Trim: Hoods are available at additional cost where required. Select from matching hardwood veneers or paint grade plywood.

Security/Lock Option: Cylinder lock systems, key or thumb turn mechanisms and slide bolts are available. NOT AVAILABLE WITH ELECTRICALLY OPERATED DOORS.

Architectural Specifications: Woodfold Roll-Up Doors shall be upward coiling style, unfinished (factory finish available at additional cost). Individual slats are interconnected using plastic coated aircraft grade stainless steel cable, fixed at top and bottom. Woodfold Roll-Up Doors shall be suspended from manufacturer-provided overhead coiling system utilizing manual, awning crank, or electric motor driven operation. All necessary hardware and materials shall be included for normal installation.

FACTORY FINISH OPTION: Woodfold specializes in the finishing of quality hardwood products. We use only environmentally safe finishing materials. Our factory finish is available clear (non-tinted) or custom stained to match. A factory finish will provide years of service and durability. This option is available at additional cost.

HOW TO ORDER: List hardwood species, list options required, list finished opening sizes; (A) Width: finished wall to finished wall (or jamb). (B) Height: counter/floor to top of opening.

Specify Mounting Options: Wall mount or between jamb mount. (For wall mount, specify exposed or concealed lead rail.) Note: Minimum clearance is required.

Specify Lock System: Cylinder lock, thumb turn, or slide bolt.

Specify Operation: Manual operation, awning crank, or electric motor driven.

Note: Detailed shop drawing forms available upon request. Approved shop drawing required for fabrication.

Specify Finish: Specify unfinished (factory standard), factory clear finish or custom stain (sample for match required).

Special Note: We recommend the option of Woodfold’s factory finishing service. Factory finishing minimizes the problems associated with grease, stains, handling marks, etc., coming in contact with unfinished hardwood Roll-Up Doors. Woodfold’s factory finish option assures you of the best quality finish available. Time delays associated with job site finishing are further eliminated. The Woodfold Roll-Up door is ready to use immediately upon installation.

Shipping Schedule: All Roll-Up Doors with standard wood species, unfinished, 2 weeks.* All Roll-Up Doors with factory clear finish; 3 weeks.* All Roll-Up Doors with custom finish; 3 weeks* (approved stain match required). Other hardwood species subject to timetable established with quotation/order.

Method of Shipment: All Roll-Up Doors will be shipped via LTL Freight.
