Permamop
PermaMop low fuming asphalt includes a polymer to create an odor-trapping skim layer on the kettle. But reduced fuming is only the beginning of the PermaMop story. PermaMop is specially engineered to provide exceptional durability. In laboratory testing, ordinary asphalt exceeds 60 weather cycles (approximately 15 years). PermaMop lasts up to 150% longer – withstanding up to 193 cycles. This superior durability makes it an ideal choice for projects in extreme weather areas – whether it's heat, cold or moisture.
PermaMop is also uniquely formulated so that it can be applied to any roof type, regardless of the slope. It has the softening point of a Type IV asphalt but with a lower EVT than any standard Type IV. It stays where it's mopped, even on steep sloped roofing in intense heat.
PermaMop is an ideal choice for applications where you want it done right the first time, for a long time. Especially areas which are difficult to access, intense weather areas, or a roof with several different slopes.
