It's true. But only when you use TruLo Type I through IV asphalts featuring our patented low fuming technology. We've taken our already high-performing standard built-up roofing asphalts and added a technologically advanced polymer to their composition. When heated, the polymer floats to the surface and creates a skim layer on the kettle that traps the fumes and odor inside – without affecting the asphalt or disrupting kettle operation.
