Powr-Touch™ Control System

The Powr-Touch™ Total Gymnasium Control Center is the most innovative, safest
and most efficient way to control gym equipment. This state-of-the-art TouchPad
system allows you to operate up to 160 devices including: basketball backstops,
gym dividers, electric height adjusters, overhead volleyball systems, batting
cages, and mat movers, while providing power to other auxiliary equipment such
as lighting, scoreboard, etc. without the use of keys.
The four-digit programmable security code allows access to authorized individuals only. The code can easily be re-programmed as needed to prevent unauthorized use.
Specify multiple TouchPads when equipment operation from various locations within the gymnasium is a requirement. Control circuit relay panels (12" x 15") may be strategically located on walls or roof framing structure to minimize length of power conduit runs. The Powr-Touch™ must be specified as an option.
Sportsonic® II Wireless Control System

Sportsonic® II is a wireless control system designed to operate electric winch units without conventional wall-mounted key switches. Sportsonic® II eliminates the need for costly wiring, conduit and electrical boxes between the basketball backstop, electrically operated height adjuster, overhead volleyball system or gym divider winch motor and the key switch location. The only wiring necessary is the standard power requirement for the electric winch unit. The Porter Sportsonic® II system will save substantial costs on the contractor’s electrical wiring in the gymnasium and also provide the facility personnel with the very latest in remote control system technology. Sportsonic® II must be specified as an option.
Key Switch Control System for Electric Winches
Specify No. 791
This control system is supplied as standard with all Porter backstops operated
by an electric winch. Separate Up & Down keys provide for the safest equipment
operation. For added protection against accidental or unauthorized raising or
lowering of the backstop, overhead volleyball and curtains, the momentary key
switch features two keys (up and down) to prevent instantaneous reversing of the
winch and overriding the limit switches. Standard 4-1/2" square flush mounting
features a stainless steel cover plate.
