Height Adjusters with Center-Strut® Feature

Porter’s exclusive Center-Strut® height adjuster is available
on the backstop selection of your choice, along with the option to choose either
manual or electric operation. There’s added value in any combination you
choose with Porter’s Limited Lifetime Warranty offered on all Porter backboards
installed with a Center-Strut® height adjuster. The Center-Strut®
feature allows all goal-mounting bolts to pass through the backboard and into
a heavy steel mounting plate on the height adjustment frame eliminating any strain
on the backboard. The goal height is easily adjustable to any height between 8'
and 10' to accommodate all age levels, and height settings are clearly visible

Manual Height Adjuster
Specify No. 900 Style Height Adjuster
Standard adjustment mechanism provided is an awning crank extension handle. Integral
lock mechanism prevents goal height changes during the most rugged game conditions.
Lock mechanism is automatically disengaged by the removable crank when adjusting

Optional Electric Systems
Electrically raises or lowers the goal height using a compact 115 volt, gear motor type linear actuator with 600 pound thrust capacity. Integral limit switches provide automatic shut off at 8' and 10' goal heights.
No. 901 Electric Height Adjuster with Key Switch Operation
Standard operation for the Center-Strut® electrically operated height adjustment
unit is provided by the same type wall mounted key switch that is used to operate
the electric hoist winches for the backstop. Key switches may be ganged in pairs
(one for the backstop- one for the height adjuster) in each cover plate.
No. 902 Electric Height Adjuster with Portable Powr-Stick Operation
The Powr-Stick portable electric control provides an economical solution to operate
multiple units by eliminating the necessity for field wiring. Unit uses existing
wall outlets and the Powr-Stick plugs into a special receptacle mounted on the
height adjustment frame. Rotary control switch on the Powr-Stick makes raising
and lowering goal heights quick and simple.

This wireless control system is designed for remote operation of your electric
height adjusters as well as for operating the electric hoist winches on folding
backstops or gymnasium divider curtains. All operations can be accomplished with
