for: Unlike steel, cast iron is inherently resistant to continued corrosion. Standard unfinished ductile iron will, over time, develop an attractive patina that will not damage the iron and that requires no upkeep. Products can also be provided prime-coated, electrostatically powder coated in any specific color, or galvanized. Other finishes can also be applied, if needed, to suit a particular demand. Where applicable, specially finished products are shipped with touch-up paint. Our decorative cast products include tree grates, trench grates, bollards, drinking fountains, plaques, and earthquake buttons. Manufactured mild steel tree guards are also available to compliment the tree grates.
