Cold Formed Members (Purlins/Girts)
A cold formed member rolled in the shape of a block “Z” from 55,000 psi steel in five different gauge thicknesses.  These “Z” Sections are used primarily as roof purlins and wall girts to span between building rafters and columns and provide for attachment and support of roof and wall panels.

Cold Form Members (“C” Channels)
A member cold formed on a press brake in the shape of an open “C” (plain channel) from 55,000 psi steel in 12 gauge thickness only.  This Cannel Section is used primarily as jambs and headers for framed openings.  Also used to connect 8 ½ inch partition girts or 8 ½ inch lean-to girts to wall girts of the main structure.

A cold formed member rolled in the shape of a block “C” (lipped channel) from 55,000 psi steel in two different gauge thicknesses.  These “C” sections are used primarily as sill girts above open walls.  May also be used in a vertical position, below eave lines, as a header to support sliding doors.
