A comparison of the Echelon Plus^® reinforced post with standard punched posts used by other aluminum fence manufacturers shows several Echelon Plus^® advantages. The Echelon Plus^® post is made stronger by the reinforcing web; the conventional post is weakened by removing material from its cross-section.

Echelon Plus^® requires only one non-punched post; the punched system requires four different posts (line, end, corner and gate). Punched holes allow moisture build-up and potential freeze expansion. Echelon Plus^® boulevard brackets allow for the fine tuning of fence alignment. The wrap-around bracket, secured to the rail with Ameristar's tamperproof fastener, ensures far greater security than the single screw in punched posts.
