Miracote Protective Coating is a
polymerized cementitious protective coating. It consists of a unique rubber-like
polymer liquid mixed at the time of application with a factory furnished
cement aggregate blend. The material is applied in multiple coats
by brush, roller or spray to a typical thickness of 1/16" (1.66mm). Important
characteristics of this system are its extraordinary adhesion coupled with
its ability to withstand prolonged pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
Miracote Protective Coating provides a tough water-retardant coating which
substantially reduces or prevents water penetration, freeze-thaw scaling
and concrete carbonation. It is a "breathable" coating which releases normal
entrapped vapor without loosening or blistering. Miracote Protective Surfacing
is available in two basic colors white and natural cement, however, with
the addition of Miracote Colorbond, fifteen colors are available.
Rapidly installed with no odor (VOC "zero"), this economical coating has hundreds of building protection uses.
Applies over concrete, tile, and all masonry surfaces.

A. Prepare surfaces by removal of dirt, foreign matter plus patching
in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.
B. Apply first coat of Miracote by brush, squeegee, trowel, spray or
broom.
C. Apply following coats (one or two depending on service conditions/requirements)
by brush, squeegee, trowel, spray or broom. Finish to specified texture.
D. Color Finish (optional) apply acrylic color finish, when specified,
in two coats by roller, brush or spray. Also can be colored using integral
pigments, and protected with finished clear sealers.
