Extremely durable, the SUNSHADOW line has a Ten Year lifetime warranty on all interior applications. These sunglasses for windows are available in a multitude of colors and openness factors to provide optimum glare, light, and heat control for each elevation of any building. These extremely hardy fabrics can be used in exterior or interior applications for all types of vertical or horizontal glazing.

  • In specifying solar screens keep in mind that the lighter the color the more energy efficient in an interior application.
  • All solar screens are more energy efficient when used on the exterior.
  • Dark colors absorb more heat, but are better suited for glare control.

Exterior Fabrics:

The utilization of solar screen fabrics applied to the exterior of glazing applications provides the best energy savings to any building type. Stopping the heat gain prior to entry into a structure by far out performs any interior application of the fabric as far as energy savings. Yet, when applying the fabric to the exterior all types of conditions must be evaluated. Weather, method of attachment, and longevity of the product on the exterior; all must be considered prior to specifying the product for exterior use.

On the exterior the SunShadow fabrics will provide excellent assistance in maximizing energy savings while providing comfort and excellent see-through visibility.
