VENILITE – Insulating Glass Unit with Integrated Blind System

Venilite Glass is an insulating glass unit (IGU) with a horizontal mini-blind system installed and hermetically sealed between two lites of glass. A unique double-magnet operating gear located on each side of the interior glass lite lets you lift or tilt the blinds easily. Blind slats measure 1/2 in (13 mm) wide and the standard thickness for the insulated glass is 1 1/4 in (31 mm)*.

• Light Control
  When slats are tilted or closed, the Venilite Glazing System provides light control and protects the privacy of the occupants.
• Energy Efficiency
  The Venilite Glazing System limits interior heat gain and protects fabrics and furniture against fading.
• Easy Maintenance
  Sealed inside the IGU air space, blinds require no dusting and maintain their original shape and colour for the entire life-span of the product. The Venilite Glazing System prevents bacteria and mold growth, even in the most humid areas.

Maximum Size: The maximal dimensions for SL 20C are determined by the total weight of the slats to be lifted, please contact us for complete details.

Building designers can select various types of glass lites, including clear, ultra-clear, tinted, low-e, etc. Depending on the type of glass selected, IGU will either require annealed, heat-strengthened or fully tempered glass. The Venilite blind can be installed inside a double or triple-pane insulating glass. For triple-pane insulating glass, the blind will be installed in the air space closest to the interior.
