Interchangeable Core

Schlage interchangeable core cylinders allow the immediate rekeying of a lock without the time and expense of repinning cylinders. The core is removed and installed with a 15° turn of a control key. 1" (25 mm) Trim rings and inserts are provided for upper cylinders on 1-3/4" (44 mm) thick doors. Interchangeable core cylinders are available with complete locks, or as retrofit kits.

To order complete locks, change product suffix P to R. Example: S251RD. To order interchangeable locks less core, change product suffix R to J. (Specify design, finish and keying requirements.)

Primus Interchangeable Core

S-Series levers will accept the Primus Controlled Access 20-740 cylinders. Drivers for interchangeable core locks will accept both standard and Primus cores, providing ease of installation.
