Security Deadbolts

Schlage's B-Series deadbolt locks provide primary or auxiliary security locking for both commercial and residential applications. The offering includes the standard duty B100-Series for residential structures, and the heavy duty commercial grade deadbolts B600/B700/B800-Series, also recommended for residential use. All products in this series feature a full one-inch throw deadbolt with our exclusive wood frame reinforcer, providing an excellent deterrent to "kick-in" attack.

Specifications

Applications: Auxiliary and primary locking for residential and commercial buildings. B-Series locks are designed to meet various security door preparations and functional requirements as determined by local codes and life safety regulations.

Certifications: ANSI A156.5, 1984. B100-Series, Grade 3; B600, B700, B800-Series, Grade 1.

Exposed Trim: Wrought brass or bronze.

Keying: 5 Pin keying with two nickel silver keys per lock. 6 Pin keying available. Other keying options available from the factory include masterkeying and construction keying. The vertical spacing off B200 Series are also available with interchangeable cores. The B200 and B600-Series are available with Primus® High Security cylinders.

Door Range: B100-Series, 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" standard. Regular parts available to 2-1/4", assembled to order, 6 pin keyed double cylinders available to 2". B200-Series, 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" standard. B600/700/800-Series, 1-3/4" to 2" standard, available for 1-3/8" and doors up to 2-1/2". Door ranges vary by function.

Deadbolt: B100-Series-1" throw standard with concealed hardened steel roller. B200, B600/700/800-Series-1" throw standard, high strength sintered stainless steel with concealed hardened steel roller.

1" Throw deadbolt with hardened steel roller resists sawing or cutting.
Precision-built solid brass 5 pin and 6 pin cylinders with phosphor bronze springs and nickel silver pins ensure long life and smooth operation.
Tough nickel silver keys are machined for smooth, long lasting operation.
Exclusive wood frame reinforcer protects wood jamb against "kick-in" attacks. The reinforcer is concealed under the strike and is anchored to the jamb by two 3" long screws.
Deadbolt trim ring reinforced with security inserts resists wrenching or prying of the cylinder unit.
Large inside thumbturn makes it easy to throw and retract the deadbolt.
