Ladder Rung:
SlipNOT® has designed state of the art ladder rungs for top quality construction. The U.S. military, food processing facilities, water &waste water treatment plants, manufacturing facilities, metal and mining companies and utility companies use SlipNOT® non-slip ladder rungs to keep their workers safe.

General Information:

  • Available shape: round or square, or tubes.
  • Tolerance: Mill or + or – 1/8"
  • Fabrication: Steel ladder rungs can be flame cut or cut with any standard band saw, chop saw, or other means.  The surface can be welded, and there is no need to grind the ends for assembly.  Rungs can be welded directly into the sides of support stringers then painted or galvanized as needed. 
  • Slip Resistant Standards: Steel ladder rungs exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, and OSHA.  SlipNOT® ’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85.  SlipNOT® is applied only to the topside of the rung.  SlipNOT®   ladder rungs and covers meet OSHA Standard 1926.1053(a)(6)(i).

Steel Ladder Rungs:

    Product Information:
  • Available thickness: ¾” and 1” for round rungs, square rungs, and others.
  • Available stock length: 120” for both round and square rungs.
  • Customized shapes and sizes can be fabricated to meet job specifications.
  • Available SlipNOT® surface: Steel.
  • Available in: Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.) or Grade 3 (Coarse).
    Product Features:
  • Durability: Steel ladder rungs coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface of over 55 Rc with a bond strength of over 4,000 psi.
  • Finishes: Steel ladder rungs can be ordered in mill finish or painted.  Ladder rungs can be galvanized after ladder is fabricated.
  • Care: If rungs are to be exposed to the weather, some sort of treatment (either priming/painting or hot dip galvanizing) is required. 

Aluminum Ladder Rungs:

    Product Information:
  • Available thickness: ¾" and 1"
  • Available stock length: 120"
  • Customized shapes and sizes can be fabricated to meet job specifications.
  • Available SlipNOT® surface: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Steel
  • Available in Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.), (Grade 3 Coarse, only offered on Steel SlipNOT® surface).
    Product Features:
  • Durability: Aluminum ladder rungs coated with SlipNOT® have a bond strength of 2000 psi.
  • Finishes: Aluminum ladder rungs can be ordered in mill finish or painted. 
  • Care: No adverse affects if exposed to weather when coated with aluminum and stainless SlipNOT® .  Ladder rung covers coated with steel SlipNOT® should be galvanized or coated with a corrosion resistant paint.

Stainless Steel Ladder Rungs:

    Product Information:
  • Available thickness: ¾" and 1" for round rungs, square rungs, and others.
  • Available stock length: 120" (11'-13' random)
  • Customized shapes and sizes can be fabricated to meet job specifications.
  • Available SlipNOT® surface: Stainless Steel.
  • Available in Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.)
  • Type of stainless steel used: 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel
