Shaped Stair Treads:
SlipNOT ® shaped stair treads can convert damaged, dangerous or degraded steps into new, safe tread ways. Manufacturing, commercial, automotive, industrial and food processing are a few of the industries that use SlipNOT ® shaped stair treads when durability and safety are critical.

General Information:   

  • Available stock thickness: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4'", 3/8"
  • Available stock width: Customer specific
  • Available stock length: up to 10’
  • Customized shapes and sizes can be fabricated to meet job specifications.
  • Bend degree: 90° or to degree angle specified.
  • Tolerance: mill, or  + or – 1/8
  • Advantages:  SlipNOT ® Steel stair treads are ideal in areas where frequent use or exposures to slippery environments increase the risk of accidents and public access liabilities. 
  • Slip Resistant Standards: Stair treads exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA.  SlipNOT ® ’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. 
  • Fabrication: Stair treads can be formed to specifications with nosings only, risers and nosings, or formed to a channel.  Holes can be provided pre-drilled or can be drilled and countersunk in the field.  Treads are available formed to detail with or without mounting plates.  Treads are manufactured to specifications for thickness and depth.
  • Application: Stair treads are easily retrofitted over existing concrete, grating or unsafe diamond checker plate assemblies.  Treads can be welded directly onto current treads or stringers or can be bolted in place.  Mid-point and top formed landings are also available.

  • Finishes: Steel stair treads can be ordered in mill finish, painted, or hot dipped galvanized.

Aluminum Stair Treads:

  • Available Alloy: 5052 Aluminum

  • Durability: Aluminum treads coated with SlipNOT® have a bond strength of 2000 psi.
  • Finishes: Aluminum stair treads can be ordered in mill finish or painted.

Stainless Steel Stair Treads:
