The RPS Pipe Portal System is designed to allow for both vertical and horizontal pipe movement, yet provide a maintenance free permanent installation which accommodates pipe sizes of 3/8" up to 12". The curb cover is molded from ABS plastic (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) with a laminated acrylic coating which gives high resistance to both ozone and ultraviolet sun rays as well as a serviceable temperature range of -40°F to +270°F.The molded sealing ring on the collared opening and the groove in the rubber cap assures a weather-tight pressure and mechanical lock. The protective rubber caps are compression molded of EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber with a serviceable temperature range of -60°F to +270°F and have a high resistance to both ozone and ultraviolet sun rays. The conical shaped steps of the nipple provide a taut weatherproof seal around the pipe and the Stainless Steel Snaplock Swivel Action Clamps provided, give added protection to guarantee the pipe seal. The swivel action of the clamp cuts installation time by 75%.

SPECIFICATIONS FOR PIPE MOUNTING PEDESTALS Furnish and install Roof Products & Systems Corporation Pipe Portals at all points where pipes 12" in diameter or smaller are penetrating roof. The pipe portal shall include an 18 gauge galvanized steel roof curb with integral base plate, continuously welded corner seams, factory-installed wood nailer and 1 1/2" 3 lb. rigid fiberglass insulation.The pipe portal shall be furnished with a laminated, acrylic coated, ABS plastic curb cover with prepunched holes and molded sealing ring on an 8" collared opening and an EPDM compression molded cap with stainless steel snaplock clamps. Pipe Portal® shall be Model RC-_A with N__ cap as manufactured by Roof Products and Systems Corp., Bensenville, IL. Contractor fabricated pipe flashings will not be accepted.DECK MATE™
The RPS Deck-Mate Pipe Seal is designed to work with any configuration of corrugated deck. The Deck-Mate is engineered so that the aluminum flanged base bends to any contour, deck irregularities or roof pitches. The Deck-Mate seals water-tight to the roof panel with silicone sealant and standard roofing fasteners. SPECIFICATIONSFurnish and install the RPS Deck-Mate as manufactured by Roof Products & Systems Corporation, Bensenville, IL, at all points where pipes 18" in diameter or smaller are penetrating the metal roof. The Deck-Mate shall be EPDM (Ethylene Propolene Diene Monomer) or Neoprene compression molded rubber. Material shall have a serviceable temperature range of -60°F to 270°F and be resistant flexible aluminum base. The base flange will be incorporated to a pleated expansion joint. RPS ALUMI-FLASH™PIPE FLASHING FOR ALL ROOF SYSTEMS AN ECONOMICAL SELF FLASHING PIPE SEAL FOR ROUTING PIPES THROUGH THE ROOF The RPS Alumi-Flash works with all roof systems and makes pitch pans obsolete. Due to the flexibility of the EPDM (Ethylene Propolene Diene Monomer) rubber caps roof leaks are eliminated because penetrations are allowed to expand, contract and vibrate independently of the vapor barrier. There are five caps available which accommodate a variety of pipes, tubes and angle irons from 3/8" through 12". EPDM is a hydrocarbon rubber which is compounded to resist degradation due to oxidation or exposure to ozone and ultraviolet rays while having a serviceable temperature range of -60°F to +270°F. The caps are mechanically sealed to the Alumiflash base with a double “Weather Tite Pressure Seal”, which consists of two beads formed into the collar that mate with the double grooves on the insides of the caps. The base must be roofed in, using good roofing practices. Together, the cap and base provide a permanent, watertight and maintenance free means for penetrating roofs that is simple and easy to install.SPECIFICATIONS Furnish and install Alumi-Flash as manufactured by Roof Products & Systems Corporation, Bensenville, IL, at all points where pipes 12" in diameter or smaller are penetrating roof. The Alumiflash shall include a .060 spun aluminum base flange with a height of 4" and a base diameter of 14" or 20 3/4". The collared opening shall have two beaded sealing rings roll formed into the base, an EPDM (Ethylene Propolene Diene Monomer) compression molded rubber cap and stainless steel snaplock clamps.Alumi-flash shall be RPS Alumi-flash with N__ cap as manufactured by Roof Products and Systems Corp., Bensenville, IL. |
