ToughRock^® Mold-Guard^™ Gypsum Board

ToughRock^® Mold-Guard^™ Gypsum Board is designed to provide extra protection against mold growth compared to standard gypsum board products. When tested by an independent lab per ASTM D 3273 ("Standard Test Method for Resistance to Growth of Mold on the Surface of Interior Coatings in an Environmental Chamber"), ToughRock Mold-Guard achieved a score of 10, the best possible score for this test. Additionally, ToughRock Mold-Guard has an extra layer of protection on the paper to resist moisture and the product is treated with biocides to resist mold growth.

ToughRock Mold-Guard can be specified for high humidity commercial and residential areas and remodeling projects in bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements and kitchens where ambient moisture might occur on a daily basis. The product can be installed in protected or sheltered areas during construction to assist in trade scheduling.

5/8" ToughRock Mold-Guard is a Type X panel for use in approved fire-rated assemblies. Product also available in 1/2".
