PROSHIELD® HINGED PATIO DOORS 
Invite more fresh air and natural light into your home with ProShield Hinged French patio doors that combine the appeal of low-maintenance vinyl exteriors with the warmth of wood interiors. Doors are available with two side-hinged panels that swing open from the center, or a center-hinged style with one fixed and one operating panel.
Four adjustable hinges on each door panel allow for precise door height adjustment and years of smooth opening and closing. Hinge finishes also coordinate with handle set finishes.
Bottom rail height choices include a standard 7-1/2" rail or optional 10" or 12" rails.
A single-point handle-activated locking system is standard on 6'10" height doors. A multi-point locking system (shown below) is standard on the 8' height doors and optional on 6'10" height doors that securely locks the doors at the top, middle and bottom.Three-point weather stripping helps create a tight seal for superior protection against air and water migration. 
Accentials Distinctive Colors & Finishes Low-maintenance vinyl-clad exteriors feature uPVC vinyl extrusions with high-impact modified stabilizers that offer strength and durability over regular vinyl. White, Cameo and Tan extrusion colors are specially formulated for consistency throughout the extrusion that helps make nicks and scratches that may occur over time less visible to the eye. 
Doors feature an exterior with a wood frame clad in extruded vinyl and wood door panels that are painted with a poly finish. Both frame and panel interiors are offered in natural wood.
Vinyl exterior and hardwood interior thresholds on the outswing door, and a vinyl threshold on the inswing door, prevent side jambs from soaking up moisture that leads to rotting. Optional ADA sill and low-profile sill are available on outswing, side-hinged French doors only. A vinyl bottom door sweep has a built-in water diverter for improved performance.
Door panel stiles are constructed of Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) for exceptional strength and durability, and pre-finished for superior weather protection.
Standard double-strength glass offers improved structural integrity. Glazing options include Insul Low E2 with Argon/Krypton gases, Insul Low E2 with Argon gas, Insul Low E2 or Insul. Specialty glass options include Tempered, Gray, Bronze and Obscure. Weather Shield Manufacturing Co. |
