PROSHIELD® BAY & BOW WINDOWS 
ProShield Angle Bay and Bow windows offer the striking architectural appeal of traditional three-wide angle bay windows in 30° or 45° styles, or the curved look of bow windows in up to five-wide combinations set at 10° angles. Use these vinyl-clad wood windows to create the illusion of more space in smaller rooms through improved lighting and expanded views.
Window unit interiors are available pre-finished in White to save you valuable time and effort after installation. Natural Pine, Ash or Maple interiors complement floors and furniture.A standard Warm Edge spacer system between the insulating panes of glass improves window unit thermal performance. 
All-metal hardware is available in White or Goldtone. An optional corrosion-resistant seacoast package is also available on casement bays and bows.Bay/bow units offer a standard head and seatboard, plus a standard 4-9/16" extension jamb up to 12" in overall jamb depth that matches interior wood choices, or may be pre-finished. 
Complement the style of your home or add your own distinctive look with optional Simulated Divided Lite (SDL), aluminum airspace or snap-in wood perimeter grilles featuring a "frame" design using concealed pins to snap them securely in place for superior strength compared to stick grilles found on other window brands. 
Fusion-welded exterior frame and sash corners provide improved strength, structural stability and better resistance to water and air infiltration. Mitered corners offer a more sophisticated look than vinyl window exteriors that feature square-offs and corner cuts.
Low-maintenance vinyl-clad exteriors feature uPVC vinyl extrusions with high-impact modified stabilizers that offer strength and durability over regular vinyl. White, Cameo and Tan extrusion colors are specially formulated for consistency throughout the extrusion that helps make nicks and scratches that may occur over time less visible to the eye.
ProShield bay/bow window units feature a rigid integral nailing fin that provides greater structural stability and easier installation.
The multi-chambered vinyl-clad frame and sash improves structural integrity and thermal performance by minimizing expansion and contraction due to seasonal changes or differences in outside and inside temperatures.
Standard double-strength glass offers improved structural integrity. Glazing options include Insul Low E2 with Argon/Krypton gases, Insul Low E2 with Argon gas, Insul Low E2 or Insul. Specialty glass options include Tempered, Gray, Bronze and Obscure. Weather Shield Manufacturing Co. |
