USG Drywall Suspension System - Direct Mount

Engineered drywall ceiling system developed for efficient install, less labor. Designed for short plenum depths and faster perimeter connections.

The Drywall Suspension Direct Mount System is designed for quicker installation in shallow plenum or Wall-To-Wall applications. The Close Mount Attachment Clip (CMAC-1) provides strong deck support connection without the use of hanger wires in tight plenum applications like Hotels, Dormitories, and Multi-Family Units. The Drywall Grid Locking Channel (DGLC-12) connects tees to the perimeter with an engineered locking pocket. This Drywall Grid Locking Channel eliminates the laborious requirement of fastening perimeter tees into the wall angle or channel. When installing with USG Wall-To-Wall Main Tees and USG Sheetrock Brand EcoSmart 5/8" Panels, no hanger wires or fastening at the perimeter is required for spans up to 8'.

• Each pocket offers lances at tee bulb and flange for secure, tight connection
