Self Supporting Yard Ramp with Edge of Dock Leveler - Beacon® BYRDS Series

The Self Supporting Yard Ramp with Edge of Dock Leveler - Forklift Loading Ramps is a combination unit constructed of steel. The BYRDS series has stationary legs with EOD +/- 5" adjustment for loading and unloading. This type of design does not require the truck suspension to assume the load of the unit like traditional yard ramps. This unit has self supporting legs.

• Construction: Models feature welded steel construction.
• Size: Units are 72", 73", 84", or 85" wide overall and a usable width of 66" or 78". The leveler is 64" wide on BYRD models that are 72" or 73" and 75" on 84" or 85" models. The leveler is 66" wide on BYRDS 72" and 73" models and 72" on 84" and 85" models.
• Service Range: Hand crank allows for height adjustment positioning. Edge of Dock has a service range of +/- 5".
• Color: Models are painted a Beacon neutral, earth-tone brown.
• Weight: Units weigh between 5,670 and 6,720 lbs.
• Usage: The hand crank adjustable leg set is available as stationary with platform pads or with 9" steel wheels for trailer bump creep.
• Operation: The BYRDS series is designed to be stationary in one location in the yard. Position it in the best location for access. Trucks will back up to the unit as if they were backing up to a loading dock.
• Capacity: Units have a 16,000, 20,000, 25,000, or 30,000-lb. capacity.
• Standard: Self Supporting Yard Ramp with Edge of Dock Leveler includes rubber bumpers.
• Options: Forklift slots, fork positioning loop, tow bar hitch, handrails, a mechanical dock leveler in place of the hydraulic (16,000 to 25,000-lb. units), and lag holes.
